Emmie appeared on our doorstep last year. She stopped by several days in a row and the kids started to offer her milk. She seemed hungry so we tried but could not find her owner. We decided to adopt her despite already having a rather full house and have never regretted it. We have had her for over a year now and we love her very much.

We found Indie on a website for the Capital Canines Animal Rescue. We fell in love with her and the family drove down to meet her. We decided to adopt her and brought her home and she is now part of our family.

Lucky was in poor health when we met her. She had kennel cough and had not been able to be adopted for 6 months. She came from a puppy mill. The moment we met her, we knew she would be our dog. We held her in our arms and just knew it. She needed some medical help but soon was healthy again.

Fortinbras was adopted from a local animal shelter in Kansas and has settled in nicely with his new family. A big love bug.

Fannie was adopted from RBARI Animal Refuge in Oakland, NJ. She has been with her new family for 10 years now and has been very happy taking daily walks with her dad.

Remington is a chocolate lab and weimaraner mix. He was part of an unexpected litter. He was adopted into his forever home in California and loves to swim!

Mona Lisa was adopted from a kill shelter in North Carolina last year. She was part of a litter of 7 and they were all adopted. She is living a good life now.

Coco was adopted from the Port Washinton Animal Shelter in New York and spent 15 years with her forever family. She has since gone to doggie heaven but will never be forgotten.

Captain was adopted from a local barn in Pennsylvania. He is much more healthy and calm since coming here and is now all mine!

Rose ( a long hair chihuahua) was found on Craigslist in May, 2016. She was left behind when her owners moved from their apartment in Nebraska. The person who ended up with her could not afford to keep her. She loves to cuddle and go for walks to the dog park.

Amelia (a husky) was adopted from the Human Society in Nebraska. She was about 3 years old at the time and left at an emergency vet very soon after giving birth. They suspect she was a puppy mill breeder. It took her 6 months to start trusting us but she turned out to be well-adjusted and affectionate.

Ronan was adopted from the Morristown, NJ Seeing Eye Dog Program after deciding he wanted a different career for himself. He is happy in his forever home and is growing to be a happy senior dog.

This is Sasha whose mom has temporarily become homeless. Sasha was living in a car with her mom. While her mom is getting back on her feet, Sasha's vet has been taking care of her. They are working to find a permanent home for Sasha's mom so she can be reunited with her pets.

This is Ripley who was adopted from Tyco Animal Control in New Jersey with his forever mom at a Halloween pet Parade!
This kitten was a stray living with his cat family outside a diner on Route 17 in New Jersey. He has found is forever home now..

Gracie is a one year old terrier mix who has found her forever home with a family in Pennsylvania.

Leyla Noodle was adopted from a Mississippi kill shelter and is now 10 months old. She loves babies and children and is training to be a support dog. She has learned some tricks also. She lives on Long Island, N.Y.

Bear is a 2011 dog from the Delaware Valley Rescue. He is a Labrador and English Springer mix. He was from a litter of 8. The mother died of heart worm. He is a gift everyday we have him.
